Welcome to eduattend ai. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the eduattend ai application ("App", "we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the App.

eduattend ai is an educational attendance tracking application intended to be used by teachers, administrators, parents, and educational institutions to mark and manage student attendance efficiently.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use this App. By using this App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. User Registration

To access the App's full functionality, you are required to register using accurate and current information:

• Full Name
• Mobile Number
• Role (e.g., Teacher, Admin, Parent)
• Institution or Class Information (if applicable)

After registration, users must log in using the method provided (OTP or password). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login information and for all activities under your account.

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

There are multiple types of users:

• Admin/Teacher: Can add/manage student records and mark attendance.
• Parents: Can view their child's attendance record and related updates.

As a user, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful and educational purposes.
• Not share your account with others.
• Not attempt to bypass security or misuse the app's services.
• Ensure that any information you enter is truthful and accurate.

5. Data Collection and Use

The App may collect the following data:

• User name and phone number
• Student details: name, class, roll number
• Attendance date and time
• Device information (for debugging purposes)

Location data is not collected at this time.

Your data will be used strictly to:

• Record and display attendance
• Generate attendance reports
• Allow communication between authorized users (teachers/admins and parents)

No third-party sharing occurs. If integrations like WhatsApp or analytics are added in future versions, users will be notified and given a choice.

6. Data Security

We prioritize your privacy and data security. All personal data is stored securely using modern encryption and access control mechanisms through Firebase or other secure infrastructure.

We cannot guarantee 100% security but we take all reasonable precautions to protect your data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is stored until you delete your account or request deletion.

You have the right to:

• Request data access
• Request data correction
• Request permanent deletion of your data

Data deletion requests can be made via email or in-app support and will be processed within 7 working days.

8. Use Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

• Use the app to impersonate others
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Modify, reverse engineer, or tamper with the app
• Use bots, automation, or scraping tools
• Share screenshots or internal content publicly without permission

Violation of these rules may lead to account suspension or permanent ban.

10. Service Availability

eduattend ai may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical updates, or internet/server issues. We are not responsible for any losses caused by temporary downtime or service interruptions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the app or website, and your continued use after changes implies your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. No Warranty

This App is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

We do not take responsibility for:

• Any incorrect data entered by users
• Any decisions made by teachers/admins based on the app's output
• Any misuse of the app by third parties

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business
• Unauthorized access to your information

Users are solely responsible for any data or actions they perform through the app.

14. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if:

• You violate any of these Terms
• You use the app in a harmful or unlawful manner
• You impersonate or attempt to manipulate the app or its users

15. Governing Law
